Knife protection system with precise operation
The new Strautmann feed trailer is used knife protection system It is characterized by precise operation and extremely low maintenance requirements. In case of collision with a foreign object, the knife completely withdraws from the transport channel, thus minimizing the risk of damage to the knife blades.

Easy traction, efficiency and power – the drive system

The Zelon transport system is driven by a 1¼ thick Duplex chain located on the left side of the rotor. An automatic chain tensioner and Automatic chain lubrication system reduces maintenance requirements to a minimum – this increases work efficiency and extends the service life of individual components.

1650 Nm high torque protection – a cam safety clutch upstream of the main gearbox protects the drive system from overload

Durable and strong rotor

Thanks to its large width of 1500 mm and diameter of 725 mm Zelon power supply rotor ensures extremely high throughput. The 8 mm wide fingers are arranged in a spiral in 5 rows and welded to the rotor tube, so The rotor is extremely strong, durable and runs smoothly..

Thanks to the short distance to the blade, the 21 mm wide Hardox steel finger plates ensure a consistently precise scissor-like cut.
Thanks to the clever shape of the scrapers, the transport tines always move away from the mass flow at an angle of more than 90°. The 14 mm wide scrapers prevent the feed from compacting into mash, while ensuring high compaction in the cargo compartment – which saves energy and preserves the feed structure.
