CEREX - universal mechanical seed drill for sowing after ploughing, minimum tillage or cultivation

Thanks to its cleverly designed, maintenance-free seeding discs, the Cerex seeder is economically attractive to farms that believe in soil cultivation and seedbed preparation.

Multiva eCerex seeders with electric drive

Multiva eCerex – a versatile seeder designed for sowing in both minimally tilled and plowed soil. The simple, durable, and low-maintenance design of the seeding discs makes it eCerex a cost-effective option for farms that sow into a pre-prepared seedbed.

eCerex The design of the seeding discs incorporates innovative solutions from eForte direct-seeding planters, including— spinner, which helps to properly cover the seed and ensure high-quality planting.

Multiva Cerex EVO seed drills with mechanical drive

Multiva Cerex EVO – a versatile seeder designed for sowing in both minimally tilled and plowed soil. The simple, durable, and low-maintenance design of the seeding discs makes it Cerex EVO a cost-effective option for farms that sow into a pre-prepared seedbed.

Cerex EVO Advanced features have been incorporated into the design of the seeding discs Forte EVO Direct-seeding solutions, including— spinner, which helps to properly cover the seeds with soil and ensure high-quality sowing.

Unique Features of MULTIVA Cerex Seeders

    Versatile Seeding Under Various Conditions

The Cerex EVO and eCerex are designed for sowing in both plowed and minimally tilled soil. Sharp double seeding discs effectively cut through the soil and precisely place seeds even in fields with abundant crop residue. As a result, the seeders are easily adaptable to different tillage techniques.

Seeding disc pressure up to 120 kg

The sturdy double seeding discs can be pressed down with a force of up to 120 kg, ensuring that the set seeding depth is maintained even under more challenging conditions. The downforce is controlled by the tractor’s hydraulic system and can be easily adjusted during seeding to accommodate changing soil conditions.

Precise dosing from small to large amounts

The dual-chamber metering system allows for precise metering of both very low seeding rates—such as for rapeseed—and high seeding rates. Switching from larger to smaller seeds is straightforward, so the seeder can be easily adapted for different crops.

Low fuel consumption and easy maintenance

The double seeding discs effectively cut through the soil, while the large-diameter transport wheels feature low rolling resistance, so the seeders require less tractor power and fuel. The durable design of the seeding discs does not require regular lubrication, which reduces the need for daily maintenance.

    Universal sowing

Cerex seeders use seeding discs that incorporate advanced technological solutions similar to those found in Forte FX direct-seeding seeders, such as seeding depth control via a pressure wheel.

    Minimal tillage technology
    Cerex mechanical seeding technology

In many cases, light tillage is beneficial for seed germination, weed control, and accelerating soil drying and warming. The soil can be tilled with the Multiva TopLine Super XL S-tine cultivator or the DiscMaster disc cultivator. It is also possible to use the front tillage unit on the seed drill.

    Cultivated soil
    Mechanical seeder Cerex technology

When sowing with the Multiva Cerex after primary tillage and seedbed preparation, extremely precise seed placement and uniform germination are ensured in various soil types. The Cerex is ideal for sowing after a spring-tine cultivator, rotary harrow, or disc harrow.

When using Cerex, the seedbed can be prepared slightly shallower, as the seeds are placed precisely into a firm and moist seedbed base. This ensures good seed-to-soil contact, rapid and reliable plant emergence, and uniform crop establishment.
