Compact and mobile grain dryers for 5.5-14 tonnes
First documentation
The first surviving documentation of the Pedrotti factory (the earlier history is not written and has not survived).
Pedrotti is the leading grain dryer in Lithuania, valued for its reliability, durability and high productivity. The Basic series is the right choice for modern farms that want to dry their grain on site and thus ensure direct quality control of the final product.

All dryers are equipped with two- or three-stage fuel burners, manufactured in the Pedrotti factory. Both two- and three-flame burners are designed to work with two types of fuel (diesel/kerosene) and have integrated safety shut-off technology.

Pedrotti's belt-pulley system acts as a natural overload protector - in the event of overload, the belts slip through to protect the main mechanisms from damage. On high-performance models, an additional reducer ensures stable operation, while simple belt changes avoid costly repairs and reduce downtime during the season.

The intelligent touchscreen allows simple and intuitive control of all drying processes, while the real-time information display ensures constant monitoring of the operation. Robust aluminium housing, protected panels and integrated SIEMENS LOGO! 8 controller guarantees reliable operation and remote technical support.

Pedrotti grain dryers not only dry grain, but also perform the pre-cleaning function extremely well. The entire pre-cleaning system ensures that the drying process receives the cleanest possible grain and that the working environment remains clean and safe. The original dust extraction system with adjustable intensity allows the cleaning to be precisely tailored to the specific crop, effectively removing dust, light impurities and other dirt, thus increasing the quality of the grain and its financial value.

Pedrotti grain dryers are equipped with high-performance, radial fans that ensure intense air movement and even grain drying, even in large capacity models. These fans are quiet and efficient and are designed for long life and stable air circulation during the various drying phases.

Fully automated grain dryers can provide automatic loading, drying, cleaning, cooling and unloading. All this can be done according to a pre-set number of portions or in an infinite mode - where the dryer runs until it detects that there is enough wet grain to dry.

Only Pedrotti grain dryers feature full hot-dip galvanisation - the entire frame, the front triangular section and the plenum chamber are immersed in a bath of molten zinc. This treatment produces an extremely strong protective layer that reliably protects the structure against corrosion and ensures durability, even in difficult, humid or aggressive conditions.

Pedrotti's unique DLC system ensures continuous monitoring of all mechanical components driving the central screw and the internal mixing blades. In the event of a fault, the system automatically and quickly switches off the burner, thus protecting the dryer from the risk of fire.

The automated Pedrotti grain dryer performs all the steps itself, from loading, cleaning and drying, to cooling, unloading and starting the next batch, ensuring an uninterrupted work cycle.
Pedrotti grain dryers are highly universal, fully self-sufficient machines. They do not require any additional mechanical equipment or construction work. The machines work on the principle of repeated batch drying, using continuous grain recirculation. This solution ensures that the grain quality of the grain at the end of the drying process is absolutely uniform. From loading to unloading
One of the world's largest selection of recirculating batch grain dryers, suitable for drying all types of cereals and oilseeds.
Thanks to their extremely stable and precise temperature control and steady humidity control, the dryers ensure a uniform result from batch to batch. The movement of the grain in the hopper is controlled by both internal augers and external elevators, so that even the most sensitive seeds are treated with the utmost gentleness. When it comes to oilseed crops such as rapeseed or sunflower, the dryer's design and safety systems virtually eliminate the risk of fire, thanks to the use of burners, an over-temperature alarm, and the continuously operating DLC control. All this not only ensures maximum safety, but also maintains highest quality of the final product.Pedrotti - drying without hassle

Pedrotti dryers are equipped with everything necessary for the job, so there is no need for any external equipment or additional appliances.
If you don't have a sufficiently powerful power supply Pedrotti dryers, we offer PTO generators, that come with the dryer. When you buy a Pedrotti dryer, the generators are covered even 50 % subsidy, making them available at a very favourable price. It is a reliable and cost-effective source of electricity for your farm - the generator is driven by the tractor's power take-off (PTO), making it ideal for use with a grain dryer or as a supplementary and back-up power supply solution on your farm.Standard equipment
Don't have a powerful electricity supply? We have the solution!
Pedrotti dryers are equipped with standard safety systems to ensure reliable and safe operation at every stage. Integrated sensors, overheating protection and DLC fire control minimise the risk of fire and protect operators and equipment. The electronics are protected by IP65 standard control boxes and reinforced cable enclosures that ensure resistance to dust, moisture and external influences. Dryer modes: automatic or manual In manual mode, the dryer is operated directly: there is a separate button for each motor and component. In automatic mode, it is sufficient to set the parameters, the number of cycles required and the cooling time. By pressing the start button, the dryer will automatically perform all the set cycles. Remote-controlled hydraulic hoist A powerful hydraulic liftquickly and smoothly lifts the upper part of the central propeller without any additional effort. An electronic safety device ensures that parts only move on the appropriate command. The vibration sensor precisely stops the movement when the parts are perfectly aligned with each other and ensures smooth operation. Automatic equipment with main touchscreen These technologies form a robust control system that ensures ease of use, automatic process control and the highest level of safety in grain dryers:
Monitor the dryer's performance with your smart device The personalised HTML control page is accessible from all remote devices - Android and Apple - tablets, phones or computers.
14 pre-drying temperatures When drying, you can choose from 14 factory-set drying modes and create your own individual modes. Simply switch from one to the other and change the temperature settings at any time. Each culture setting includes a target grain temperature and a working air temperature. Both values are controlled in real time by a PLC to ensure maximum accuracy at every stage. Convenient and simple operation The advanced touch screen is designed to make setting up and using the grain dryers simple. The system is highly intuitive: from basic to advanced drying modes, the user is guided step by step, reducing the chances of human error in the drying and cooling processes. The control page acts as a screensaver - it displays all the information you need to know about how the dryer is running and what phase of operation it is in at the time. DLC fire electronic device The DLC (Driving Line Control) system continuously monitors the movement of the central screw and agitators in the dryer, ensuring the correct grain flow. The constant movement of the grain ensures that no grain is overheated more than necessary, thus eliminating the risk of accidental ignition inside the dryer. If the grain movement stops for any reason, the flame is immediately extinguished. Full control at the touch of a button Aluminium technical housing, motherboards coated with protective conformal coating, and a clever SIEMENS LOGO! 8 controller. Remote technical support and real-time temperature management. Fully automatic Generation 4.0 dryers with customisable settings, individually adapted to the specific farm infrastructure.
An electronic sensor on the inspection door stops the dryer when it opens and warns you. This ensures worker safety and prevents grain loss. An integrated notification and alert system continuously monitors the operation of the grain dryer and provides a clear list of all the messages and possible alerts. The burner interlock button is an important safety device for emergency shutdown. Pressing the button will immediately shut down the burner, ensuring the safety of the operator and the equipment.Pedrotti electronics and standard safety equipment
Digital safety systems
Each Pedrotti dryer can be equipped with additional options that optimise performance, significantly increase convenience, simplify use and improve the quality of the machine itself. Touchscreen
Cooling silo All Pedrotti dryers can be equipped with cooling silos, saving energy and speeding up the batch cycle. Silage aeration allows a moisture reduction of around 2% and an increase in daily throughput of around 25 %. Double gear If both electric and PTO drive are required, dual drive can be selected. The unit can run off the mains and, if required, on the tractor's PTO with an additional generator (Power Pack). Dust extraction system The original Pedrotti dust extraction unit ensures that the grain is extremely clean and the working environment is significantly less dusty. The intensity of the dust extraction is regulated by a special valve, allowing the user to precisely tailor the dust extraction to the specific crop. GSM message transmitter The GSM transmitter informs the operator by SMS to a mobile phone when there is a malfunction in the dryer that makes it impossible to continue the drying cycle or when a certain stage of the treatment process is reached. Heat exchangers Optimised heat transfer resulting in a thermal efficiency of at least 90 %. It is mounted inside the dryer, so it does not increase the size of the unit, and the operating temperature can reach 90-100 °C above ambient temperature. Automatic constant lubrication system
Pedrotti burners In order to offer the optimum heating unit for the different needs of the end-users, two different models are produced, with different output and fuel consumption. PLC controlled burners The PLC controller allows the burners to operate fully automatically from minimum to maximum power - up to full shutdown and, if necessary, automatic restart. Remote-controlled hydraulic lifting system
Full automation The system includes automatic shutdown at the end of the drying cycle, automatic start of the discharge via a motor-controlled damper, and start of a new load at the end of the product discharge. Solid and qualified experience gained over 65 years in the field of grain drying. The first models of Pedrotti grain dryers were developed Early 1960s. Later, the company introduced vertical cylindrical dryers, and since 1975 this technology has been Pedrotti's main specialisation. Early 1970s the development of retractable sieves has revolutionised the concept of mobile grain dryers from the very first model produced. Since then, all grain dryers in the world have been built according to this principle and The Pedrotti drying plants have become a global model that has been followed. Pedrotti's international success continues more than 30 years. During this long period of development, Pedrotti equipment has been used to dry a wide range of cereals, as well as oilseeds and legumes such as soybeans, rapeseed, sunflower, peas, beans, etc. In addition, Pedrotti equipment can be supplied and operated in very different climate zones: from the wettest and rainiest countries in northern Europe to the cooler climates of eastern Europe, as well as the hottest countries in southern Europe and the tropical climates of Central Africa and Latin America. Another factor confirming experience is that more than half of the employees working in research, development, production and service of dryers can boast more more than 25 years' service. All of this demonstrates the accumulated knowledge and experience that makes Fratelli Pedrotti is one of the world's leading companies in this field of manufacturing. In the 1970s, Pedrotti introduced the winch and sliding ladder system together with folding screw conveyors. This solution allowed even high capacity grain dryers easy to move and transport by tractor on public roads, making them truly mobile. The dryers were later upgraded with a braking system connected to the tractor's hydraulics and road warning lights, and received official approval (homologation) throughout the European Union. It was a real revolution for contractors and anyone who needed more mobility - from the farm to the fields. Today, this has become a global standard.
