Mindaugas Žalis' small dairy farm is located in a very beautiful place in Barčiai village, Lazdijai district. Currently, the farmer has a herd of 60 cows, 35 of which are milked. Caring for the well-being of the farm, he decided to purchase a feed mixer-dispenser, thus facilitating both his work and improving the quality of the cows' feed.

Without thinking for a long time, Mindaugas decided to purchase a Strautmann feed mixer-dispenser Verti-Mix 951.

"I won't hide it, the choice was determined by German quality," says Mindaugas Žali.

Until now, the farmer has been feeding by hand, so now he is happy that the cows are no longer eating whatever they want, but are receiving high-quality and complete feed.

"We mix the feed every other day and we are really satisfied with its quality. The dispenser holds 2 rolls and I am very happy that I chose a dispenser with this capacity, especially considering the future. It chops really quickly, mixes perfectly and saves us time," said the farmer.
The feed storage on the farm is not in one place, but with a dispenser and two Zetor tractors, the farmer quickly loads the feed while mixing it. The Vario mixing auger mixes the feed extremely quickly and evenly - this is an effective reduction in farm costs. As the herd grows, the mixer can be increased by adding extensions.
