Frequently asked questions:
Belt seed drills are designed for the application of Strip-till technology, sowing into stubble. This sowing technology is widely used for winter rapeseed sowing and gives excellent results in both dry and wet field conditions. Sowing belt seed drills takes place while working in narrow rows, by applying fertilizer and seeds in one row.
We share answers to the most frequently asked questions about the belt seed drills we sell. Strip-till technology is most often used to sow winter rapeseed, but we can also sow other crops, such as wheat. The Falcon Pro seed drills we sell are versatile due to their interchangeable front working section, so by changing it, you can sow not only using the strip sowing technology, but also with minimal tillage. The seed drill can be equipped with two working sections - a two-row disc cultivation and a Strip-till coulter section. Like all Farmet equipment we sell, Falcon Pro seed drills come with a 24-month warranty. The Falcon Pro belt seed drills we sell are extremely popular among farms that sow winter rapeseed. The use of belt seeding technology not only helps to grow rapeseed efficiently, but also helps to significantly save fuel costs during sowing. Belt cultivation, fertilizing and sowing are performed in one pass, which significantly reduces working time and costs. The Falcon Pro belt seeder allows you to sow two crops and apply fertilizer in one pass. The seed drills are compact, lightweight and characterized by low resistance, with easy operation and control system. You can also choose this seeder in a basic configuration - without fertilizer application or with the ability to sow two crops (individual seed dosage and seed insertion depth) with fertilizer application. The maximum depth of strip-till sowing with Falcon Strip-till seed drills is about 20 cm. Practice shows that it is not always necessary to cultivate to this maximum depth, it is possible to work much shallower. Research shows that the greatest influence on root development is not only soil cultivation, but also a higher nitrogen concentration in the root zone. If you would like to try out the strip-till technology or our Falcon Pro strip-till drills, we can offer you a drill rental service. You can rent a drill for a day, a week, a month or any other desired period. By choosing a strip-till drill for rent, you will not only be able to sow your fields with high quality using strip-till, but you will also test the quality of the drilling to the maximum. If you are interested in rental options or other rental equipment we offer, you can find a full list of rental equipment on this rental page.Frequently asked questions:

When the roots penetrate such a layer, the growth in depth slows down, the roots begin to branch strongly. If we want to reduce this effect, which very often occurs when stubble is shallowly cultivated and after heavy rains the nitrogen concentration between the cultivated and uncultivated soil layer increases, we must cultivate the soil in strips at least 5 centimeters deeper than the previous stubble shaving depth.
