The new generation of SOLA VELOX precision seed drills ensures maximum control of the seed - from placement to contact with the soil. Every detail has been designed to maximise yield potential, even in difficult conditions: when sowing into stubble, residue or uneven ground.

Three main seeding zones - maximum seed protection and contact

1. Seed placement pressure
The hydraulic pressure system allows up to 350 kg of pressure to be maintained per drill row, allowing both shallow and deep drilling - without pressure fluctuations, even in variable field conditions.

2. Double discs with 9° angle
The 15" double discs with a narrow angle precisely form a V-shaped bed. This design ensures even seed placement depth, moisture retention and faster germination.

3. Seed pressure and cover zone
The seed is gently pressed into the bed with the side wheel and the surface above it remains loose. This ensures the optimum balance of air, moisture and heat for faster and more uniform germination.

Weight distribution system - SOLA solution for three-point attachment

SOLA has developed a unique weight distribution system for three-point trailed drills. It allows the weight to be distributed evenly between the tractor and the drill, thus maintaining the same drilling depth regardless of speed or terrain, without the need for additional counterweights.
