• Easy ISOBUS control
GÖWEIL presents the new generation of balers with ISOBUS control system as standard. Clearly arranged and simple control, more functions are displayed on the monitor. GÖWEIL balers are also compatible with ISOBUS control terminals from other manufacturers.
The latest generation of the press features a drive system that further improves the performance of large chains, significantly extending the machine's service life and reducing operating costs to a minimum.
- Thanks to the advanced pendulum suspension, the pick-up has maximum mass transfer, better ground contour following and picks up even the largest swaths without any problems. The centrally mounted pendulum pick-up can move by 150 mm at both ends. The pick-up adapts perfectly to the contours of the ground and easily compensates for any unevenness in the surface.
- The camless pendulum pick-up consists of a 2.20 m wide DIN crop pick-up and large side feed augers, which ensure optimal crop supply to the rotor.
- The pickup springs, arranged in six rows at 51 mm intervals, work perfectly even when collecting very wide swaths.
- Plastic belts are a unique feature. These extremely flexible belts withstand even the highest loads and do not bend when encountering obstacles. The belt of the pick-up does not retain the mass at all, after the pick-up the springs increase its flow.
- The standard double roller feeder accelerates the crop flow even in uneven swaths and fills the baling chamber continuously and evenly.
- The pneumatically-pneumatic copying wheels work in harmony with the pendulum pick-up and roll smoothly. Thanks to special rails, the height of the copying wheels can be adjusted easily and without any tools.
The feed is chopped very precisely and finely.
Unparalleled chopping quality is the basis for top-quality silage.
- At the heart of the feed system is a powerful and large hexagonal star-shaped rotor. The extra-large 570 mm diameter rotor with rows of welded HARDOX tines cleanly cuts and transports not only large, dry swaths, but also fine, moist grass into the baling chamber.
- A mechanical feed roller is installed in front of the rotor. By pre-compacting the crop with extreme efficiency, the roller significantly increases throughput. The new roller, installed in the bale chamber, ensures optimal bale rotation and reliable starting.
- The method of rotation is different. The rotor mounted on the G-1 F125 baler rotates upwards. This movement directs the feed from the rotor through the cutting unit and into the baling chamber.
- Extremely easy to change double-sided blades. Since the chopping unit is located above the rotor, the knives can be changed without any hassle or tools, an advantage that is particularly useful for round baler-wrapper combinations.
Equipped for crushing 30 double-sided knives, whose cutting length up to 35 mm. The narrow gap between the rotor tooth and the knife ensures that the forage is chopped very precisely. The spare knife holder holds 60 spare knives, which the operator can carry and replace as many as necessary. The hydraulic protection system protects the knives from obstacles and immediately returns them to the cutting position.
Automatic flow control – ASV
Fully automated blockage removal!
The ASV system monitors the mass flow and intervenes as soon as it detects a problem in the conveying channel. This ensures that blockages at the rotor or pick-up are cleared quickly and effortlessly!
Here's how it works:
- The rotor is unclogging. The rotor overload protection is always activated as soon as the feed channel becomes too narrow for the amount of material being fed. The hydraulic upper part opens upwards and the knives swing back. When the rotor starts again, the excess material is directed unhindered into the baling chamber. The upper part is then lowered and the knives return to their original position, and the forage is collected again without any obstacles. Simple, convenient and fully automated.
- The collector is being unclogged. Overload protection also activates if too much crop accumulates in the pick-up. The normally mechanically driven feed roller is briefly switched to hydraulic control to continue feeding the crop. Together with the feed roller, the bottom is lifted up, allowing the mass to be straight to enter into the roll chamber.
1.20 mx 1.25 m baling chamber with 18 sturdy forming drums. 4 mm thick steel drums are internally reinforced, the ribbed profile ensures the best compression density and safe bale rotation.
- Two 65 mm diameter drive rollers and an additional 60 mm diameter roller shafts rotate continuously on double-row spherical roller bearings, guaranteeing exceptional stability and an extremely long service life. A specially designed bearing labyrinth prevents dust and dirt from entering the bearings.
- The primary roller with a special ribbed profile, located immediately behind the rotor, ensures the best possible bale rotation and reliable bale compression – whether it is hay, straw or haylage. The cleaning roller transfers the material that has fallen back into the chamber.
- The tailgate is opened and closed by two hydraulic cylinders. Depending on the program setting, the process can be automatic or manual. The tailgate is controlled by sensors, so it does not open more than is necessary to push the bale out.
- The bale ramp (optional equipment) can be used when you want to store the bale further away from the tailgate. This does not require changing the baler settings.
Film binding
- Wrapping film creates more compact and better film-protected rolls. It also provides an additional barrier to oxygen.
- It is much easier to open and process rolls because both the binding and wrapping films can be removed at the same time.
The operator can insert films and nets up to 1.50 m wide. The wrapping can be started automatically or manually. When tying nets and films, the hydraulically controlled brake roller ensures a tight wrapping of the bale. The compression of the brake roller and the number of layers are directly set by the program control.
Double binding – half the speed.
This optional wrapping system wraps two nets or wrapping films around the finished bale at the same time. The result: the time it takes to wrap the bale and change the net or film is cut in half!
This essential feature is really useful especially on busy feeding days.
- If the operator needs to bale silage, hay or straw bales on the same day, the baler’s double wrapping system can be used as a single wrapping unit. In this case, the double wrapping system is equipped with one net and one film roll. The operator simply controls the terminal so that one system is used for net wrapping and the other for film wrapping. Changing film and net does not cause unnecessary downtime!
- Stable handling. The GÖWEIL G-1 round baler is equipped with a robust single axle that ensures perfectly smooth and stable handling, both when driving on roads at speeds of 40 km/h and when working in hilly fields.
- Two different brake systems: dual-line pneumatic brake system and hydraulic brake system.
- Large tires. The G-1's smooth handling is ensured by large standard 500/60-R22.5 tires, which roll gently over the surface, leaving almost no tracks and ensuring minimal ground pressure.
The standard option offered is a mechanically adjustable towbar.
- Hydraulic flexible towbar.
You can choose a hydraulic flexible drawbar and two double-acting cylinders for your G-1 baler. This option is particularly useful as it protects the pick-up and helps the operator navigate steep field slopes.
- Hydraulic flexible towbar with shock absorption.
The nitrogen tank ensures a comfortable ride.
All-round split power drive
- The robust and well-engineered split power transmission installed ensures that the machine will withstand even the toughest jobs in the most adverse forage preparation conditions.
- Smooth operation of automatic flow control is ensured, guaranteeing extremely good performance.
- The PTO drive shaft transmits power to the main gearbox, which is transmitted via drive chains to the rotor, pick-up and bale chamber, and the entire chain is protected by two safety clutches. The connections are controlled by the PROFI software control.
When the rotor safety clutches react to excessive crop in the feed channel, the hydraulic lowering platform opens automatically. When the rotor starts up again, the excess crop is guided unhindered into the baling chamber. The lowering platform closes automatically and bale formation continues unhindered.
Strong drive chains
Smooth and uninterrupted operation of the split power drive is guaranteed by high-quality components:
- The main drive chain of the baling chamber is made of durable ASA 100 HE chain, and the secondary drive is made of ASA 80 HE chain.
- The ASA 80 Triplex chain drives the rotor.
- The power to the collector is supplied by the ASA 80 HE circuit.
Solid roller bearings
All baler drums have strong and durable 60 mm diameter double-row spherical roller bearings, and the two drive rollers have 65 mm diameter bearings.
Maximum performance
The latest generation of the press features a drive system that further improves the performance of large chains, significantly extending the machine's service life and reducing operating costs to a minimum.
No maintenance, as there is central lubrication.
- A fully automatic central lubrication system supplies all rollers and rotor bearings with sufficient oil.
- The oil lubrication system continuously supplies oil to all chains in the bale chamber, rotor and pick-up. Brushes evenly coat the chains with oil.
- Large grease and oil reservoirs provide long-term system supply.
