Rolandas K., a farmer working in the Šilutė district, talks about his purchase of PEDROTTI SUPER 200 grain dryer and its advantages.
„We used to have a Pedrotti dryer, maybe 25-30 years old, but we decided to sell it and bought a new one. This one is smarter, bigger and better. The previous one was 14 tonnes and the new one is 20 tonnes,“ says farmer Rolandas, delighted with his new grain dryer. He also points out that the dryer is far superior to the previous one, which did not have a cleaning system and had to be operated manually. The new grain dryer excellent pre-cleaning function, electrically operated - no need to lift the handles, just push a button. „The old dryer was like a push-button phone, this one is like a new Iphone. You squeeze it, you set it and that's it,“ laughs the farmer.
According to Rolandas, last year was a difficult year because of the heavy rain, and it remains to be seen how this year will be. So it is essential to have a drying room on the farm: „You need a drying room on a hundred hectares and if you don't have a drying room, you don't have anything to grow grain.
