Muthing technology is particularly valuable for corn growers due to its effectiveness in combating corn borers. By shredding plant residues, the wintering grounds of this pest are destroyed, which significantly reduces its population in the field. The position of the support roller is also important – it can be adjusted according to the desired result. When the roller is in front, the residues are spread behind the mulcher – this allows for a free, even spread, promoting rapid mineralization of the residues.
