Müthing, in cooperation with TÜV NORD, has carried out and successfully passed tests on the ejection of objects during operation. As a result, safety distances are reduced to 2 m at the sides and 8 m at the front and rear of the unit.

Starinth® Support Roller Bearing

Heavy-duty Müthing support roller bearing system. The bearing is permanently lubricated, protected by a labyrinth seal and mounted in a star-shaped contour that prevents the bearing from distorting. The star-shaped design reduces impacts on the bearing, thus optimizing the bearing life.

Front-rear mounting bracket

Starinth® Support Roller Bearing is a heavy-duty Müthing support roller bearing system. The bearing is permanently lubricated, protected by a labyrinth seal and mounted in a star-shaped contour that prevents the bearing from distorting. The star-shaped design reduces impacts on the bearing, thus optimizing the bearing life.

Adjustable support roller allows the mulcher to be used all year round. When maintaining pastures or field edges, the front roller evenly spreads the chopped material - this promotes fast and natural decomposition. The position of the support roller at the rear promotes fast spontaneous seed germination, especially in rapeseed crops.

Vertically adjustable support roller/support wheels allows you to easily adjust the mulcher to different working height settings. Both minimally chopped plant residues and lush green turf can be easily achieved.

Double helix rotor – lower costs and longer service life. Smooth operation reduces fuel consumption and protects the drive system, extending the service life of the gearbox and PTO shafts. Internal bearings and wide covers not only protect against foreign objects, but also prevent crop mass from wrapping around the rotor.

Tangential tool holders – better impact protection and longer service life. They allow the rotor to smoothly overcome obstacles, and the longer weld seam ensures a stronger connection of the brackets and reduces the risk of them breaking.

MU-Vario system operating concept:

1. The adjustable counter knife allows for infinitely variable adjustment of the chopping intensity to suit specific requirements.

Optimal chopping results even in wet conditions, on crawfish, with small amounts of plant material or with difficult-to-chop plant material.
Thanks to the strong suction effect, even compressed plant residues can be reached.
The chopping process can be individually optimized for each crop – both corn stubble and crops.
Thanks to the infinitely adjustable chopping intensity, higher driving speeds and higher work productivity can be achieved while maintaining constant quality.

2. Shark fin system:

Even crushing of all particles and homogeneous mulch.
Long plant residues are additionally fed into the rotor a second time, while already shredded materials pass through immediately.
Self-cleaning and replaceable design.

3. The rotating support roller turns the mulcher into a versatile piece of equipment for year-round use
