Farmer Mindaugas S. from the Kėdainiai District shares his experience with the purchase of MÜTHING MU-H/S 200 VARIO Slope Mulcher.

He used to do his grounds maintenance work with a mower, but attaching it was a hassle. „The Müthing is much easier to hitch up—you just drive up, hook it up, and you can do everything on your own,“ says Mindaugas. The farmer chose the hammer-type mulcher because of its sturdier construction.

What he values most is the quality of the work. „It really looks like it’s been mowed. The mulcher handles both taller grass and overgrown roadside areas, and the view is completely different right away,“ says the farmer. When driven at the right speed, no clumps of uncut grass remain, and the flails and counter blade finely shred the vegetation.

The working height is adjusted using a support roller, allowing the mulcher to follow the surface smoothly and maintain the selected height. The hydraulic side-shift function is also convenient. „While driving along the same tractor tracks, you can move the mulcher to the side and cut whatever’s left. It even mulches grass that’s been flattened,“ explains Mindaugas.
