Müthing, in cooperation with TÜV NORD, has carried out and successfully passed tests on the ejection of objects during operation. As a result, safety distances are reduced to 2 m at the sides and 8 m at the front and rear of the unit.

Starinth® Support Roller Bearing

Heavy-duty Müthing support roller bearing system. The bearing is permanently lubricated, protected by a labyrinth seal and mounted in a star-shaped contour that prevents the bearing from distorting. The star-shaped design reduces impacts on the bearing, thus optimizing the bearing life.

Shark fin shredding strips with shark fins

The system ensures even shredding of all plant residues: longer materials are returned for additional processing, and once properly shredded, they immediately move on.

A premium, ultra-durable, heavy-duty rear roller bearing system with multi-layer sealing technology and a high-capacity double tapered roller bearing that meets even the most demanding requirements.

External anti-twist protection between the roller and the side shield of the chopper. Prevents the ingress of coarse dirt.
Lubricated mechanical labyrinth for protection against dirt, sludge, plant debris and moisture.
A multi-layer labyrinth of small spring steel rings is lubricated, protecting against fine dust and moisture residues.
